We’re looking forward to being part of Sherborne Festival Chorus’s tenth anniversary concert during Sherborne Abbey Festival on 2nd May in Sherborne Abbey. Both choirs will be performing an all-English programme by two of our best-loved twentieth century composers, including Vaughan Williams’ Toward the Unknown Region and his own favourite choral work, Sancta Civitas. Top violinist Ruth Rogers joins the orchestra for the enduringly popular The Lark Ascending, and SCC will perform Howells’s moving setting of the Requiem.
