Our 2015-2016 season features some great music – we hope you can join us!
Join us as we bring a German Baroque Christmas to the Abbey, with Praetorius’s Mass for Christmas Day and Schütz’s Christmas Story, complete with shepherds, angels and Wise Men, and Baroque instruments a plenty, including one of the country’s top trumpet ensembles.
In March we move forward in time a little, for Handel’s Israel in Egypt. In May we will be taking part in the Sherborne Abbey Festival Chorus performance of music by Vaughan Williams, and we round off the season by marking the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death with a performance of just a few of the many choral settings of his words.
We hope to see you there!
